Watch: Dashcam footage of dangerous drivers in Yorkshire as police appeal for more video

The footage includes dangerous overtakes, people causing crashes and even a large lorry driving dangerously close to a horse causing it to rear up on a country road. The final clip shows a car careering aroud a corner, crossing the line in the middle of the road and causing the driver to slam on their breaks to avoid a crash.

The force has released the compilation of a number of dashcam videos which have been submitted to the force and resulted in prosecutions.

West Yorkshire Police released to footage on X, formerly Twitter, and said: “Got video of poor driving on West Yorkshire's roads? Send it to us.

“All these drivers have been prosecuted after other road users sent us a video.”
