Royal Ascot preview: Harrogate milliner Jenny Roberts joins celebrity hatmaker Stephen Jones at Chapeau! Mayfair pop-up shop

The Chapeau! pop-up store on Mount Street in Mayfair is open until May 29, in time for Royal Ascot, which takes place this year from Tuesday, June 18, to Saturday, June 22. It celebrates British millinery with a range of handcrafted, bespoke hats and headpieces for special occasion wear and every event in the social calendar. Styles are available on request, with several milliners working on a made-to-order schedule.

Jenny Roberts designs are showcased alongside pieces by Martha Lynn, Edwina Ibbotson, Lisa Tan, Stephen Jones, Alexandra Harper, Giulia Mio, Grainne Maher, Judy Bentinck, Lomax & Skinner, Sarah Cant and Victoria Grant.

Stephen Jones says: "This area is the beating heart of London, and it is an honour to bring the wonder and fantasy of Ascot millinery to these streets. We cannot wait to see the ladies with all our fabulous hats set forth to Royal Ascot after visiting our store.”
