Dig to uncover secrets of hill fort

THE latest archaeological dig will start this month to uncover the past of an Iron Age hill fort in North Yorkshire.

Volunteers are needed to help with the excavations at the Boltby Scar hill fort in the North York Moors National Park.

It is the third dig at the hill fort which is on the south-western edge of the North York Moors, close to Sutton Bank National Park Centre.
