HUDDERSFIELD TOWN chief executive Mark Devlin feels that Carlos Corberán's appointment is a risk worth taking and insists the Spaniard is the right man to take the Terriers forward.

The 37-year-old was confirmed as the new first-team coach at Huddersfield on Thursday night, joining from Leeds United where he was an assistant to Marcelo Bielsa and the manager of the Whites Under-23s side.

The sacking of Danny Cowley last Sunday was met with frustration by much of the Terriers fan base but Devlin feels that there is now a sense of excitement following Corberán's arrival.
