Queen’s “sense of duty” praised by Archbishop of York in Platinum Jubilee tribute and message to public figures

THE QUEEN’S “sense of duty” is today praised by the Archbishop of York in a poignant – and personal – tribute ahead of the Platinum Jubilee.

The Most Reverend Stephen Cottrell lauds Her Majesty’s dedication to “duty and service” and how “the Christian faith is her anchor”.

And he also highlights the importance of “knowing and doing what is right” – and “especially those of us in public life”.
