Gig review: Astroid Boys at The Key Club, Leeds
The performance and music was a great example of how two completely different genres – grime and hardcore rock – can cross and work perfectly.
Full of loyal and lively fans, to say the least, the gig showed raw talent and showmanship from the band from Cardiff.

While the night was overall, very enjoyable, this was not a gig for the faint hearted. With the band themselves encouraging crowd surfing, it wasn’t long before fans got stuck in to enjoying the music of Astroid Boys fully.
Launching their new album Broke, released two days before the gig, their set showed off a range of new music that had a unique sound.
Despite this, in comparison to the time that the other two support acts, Sweet Vision & Resist, had, it was a shame that the band did not have more time to show off their talent and new material.
