Clare Teal: Laughing all the way as Christmas tour brings us home
Dressed as Santa, hiding behind my homemade wobble board, tears flowing down my cheeks the hysteria set in. The situation worsened when I turned round only to see Simon and Benny (elf and drummer boy respectively) wearing little kangaroo masks. You've got to love Christmas.
The Festive Fiesta tour was a blast, Exeter, Burnley, Maidstone and Farnham.

Hide AdWe were booked to finish with two shows in Bath, but sadly had to cancel the first as the boys were snowbound in London. So other than writing this column that's all our work done for the year.
I suppose I should go and buy some presents and stuff. Muddy as always, is completely organised; all the food bought, turkey waiting at the butcher's, guest beds made, towels washed, house decorated beautifully. I don't know how she does it, I'm just so grateful she does. I've ordered my Christmas cold, it should be here by Boxing Day although with all this bad weather they've said there's bound to be delays.
I'm cooking my first ever turkey and as such am very excited, and have been trawling the internet for handy tips (eg don't forget to turn the oven on).
I reckon I'm going for the upside down approach (the turkey not me). Muddy's mum, Di, has purchased sprouts on a stalk and planted them in the garden to keep them fresh for Christmas Day – ingenious! Am loving Bloomin Hestonthall's recipe for sprouts with big chunks of bacon – come on! Just out of interest does anyone else have Yorkshire puddings with their Christmas dinner or is it just me? A neighbour is lending me a wheelbarrow to pick up the turkey and by my reckoning we should finish eating it somewhere around January 2.
