Building with roots in cutlery heritage becomes digital home
The grade II-listed Little Mesters building in Arundel Street has become the new home of The Science Registry, which is responsible for publishing a range of websites for academic and professional customers.
The building is in the city’s former industrial quarter, which is now known as the cutlural industries quarter. Tim Bottrill, a partner at property agent Knight Frank, said the refurbishment has seen a building which has been traditionally associated with Sheffield’s industrial heritage become the base for a business at the forefront of one of the city’s growth sectors – that of the creative and digital businesses.
