Odds-on favourite for double royal celebration
Her Majesty is set to spend her 89th birthday at Windsor Castle tomorrow, but royal fans will be hoping she gets an extra special present, her fifth great-grandchild. Bookmakers Coral have cut the odds on the royal baby being delivered tomorrow to 10 to 1 - now joint favourite with Saturday April 25, the Duchess of Cambridge’s reported due date.
The arrival of a girl on the Queen’s birthday would undoubtedly lead to speculation the baby would be called Elizabeth - the third favourite name at 6 to 1, after Alice at 4 to 7 and Charlotte at 5 to 1.

A flurry of bets has led to William Hill slashing the odds on the royal baby being called James. The name has been regal and family connections, as it also the name of Kate’s younger brother and William’s cousin the Earl and Countess of Wessex’s son Viscount Severn.
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: “We have seen a surge of support for James with a couple of significant wagers - perhaps the baby might just be a boy after all.”
