Leeds care home residents use social media to tell family they are okay during coronavirus with personal messages
Elderly residents at the Redcourt and Grove care homes in Pudsey wrote messages to their family on posters before posing for photographs.
Many of their family members responded on social media showing their support and thanks - at what is a difficult time for many.

Hide AdShe said the residents loved the activity and chose their own messages.
Sumitra said: "They were so positive with their messages.
"They did chat about wartime experiences and said this virus is bad, but at least they are safe in the care home."
Many family members took to social media in response to the photographs.
One woman said: "So grateful to be able to see my mum is doing fine."
Another said: "What a brilliant idea!"
