Second man arrested in connection with Harrogate sex attack

POLICE investigating the alleged rape of a teenage girl by three men in Harrogate have arrested a second man.
The 14-year-old victim was in the town’s Valley Gardens at around 4am last Tuesday when she was grabbed by three men, taken to a wooded area near Harlow Moor Road and sexually assaulted.
The next day, February 17, North Yorkshire Police arrested a man “in connection with the investigation”.

Hide AdThe force has now confirmed that a second man, aged 25, from the Harrogate area, has also been arrested in connection with the incident.
Both men have been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
