GAME recalls USB charger due to electric shock fears

High street store GAME has recalled a USB charger due to fears that it could cause electric shocks.
The ChargeWorx USB Wall Charger was sold in stores between 01/05/2017 and 23/02/2018 in various colours - both individually and as part of a package with a car adaptor.

Hide AdHowever, the company say that the car adaptor is safe to use.
The affected models are: CX3111BK, CX3111BL, CX3111GN, CX3111WH, CX2602BK and CX2602BL.
These have SKUs: 6877005, 6877013, 6877021, 6877047, 6877237, 6877245, and barcodes: 643620311004, 643620311028, 643620311035, 643620311165, 643620260104, 643620260128.
GAME point out that there have been no reports of injuries or incidents and they recall is purely a precautionary measure.

Hide AdAnyone having bought one of these items is advised to discontinue use immediately as a precaution and to visit their local GAME store to receive a refund.
A company statement read: "The safety of our customers is very important to us, so we are recalling the above products as they do not meet the required standards and there is a risk of electric shock if handled incorrectly."
They added: "We're very sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this product recall may cause you."
