The Reds crashed out of the Champions League last night, and the Whites will be looking to inflict more pain on Jurgen Klopp's side by claiming all three points in their encounter.
Speaking after their loss, Klopp immediately turned his attention to next Monday night, and said: "Monday night against Leeds is the next challenge," Klopp reflected after defeat to Real Madrid.
“The Champions League is very important for this club for different reasons. We can now concentrate on the Premier League. That is what we will do.
“[Leeds are] leading in all the physical stats in the league - we have to run. We have to work our socks off pretty much to get anything but we will try to prepare for it.”
Meanwhile, down in the Championship, a number of Yorkshire's sides remained embroiled in the relegation battle, with Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United all in danger of the drop with just a handful of matches left to play.
