A duo from law firm Last Cawthra Feather have swum the equivalent distance of the English Channel to raise money for charity.
Lucy Pollard and Caroline Chamberlain, who work at the Bradford office of the firm, swam 22 miles and raised more than £1,200 for Aspire, a charity which supports the 1,500 people affected by spinal injury

Climbing the three highest peaks respectively in England, Wales and Scotland within 24 hours, the Shepherd team from Leeds recorded the second fastest time for 2009, and has raised £8,300 so far in aid of the COINS Foundation.
The group of four scaled Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, a total of 3,407m, in 18 hours and 8 minutes.
The Shepherd Construction team were sponsored by Kingspan, Horbury Group, Hiretest, Ivanhoe Forge, Mullane Civil Engineering, Leaderflush Shapland, Connolly Demolition, Woodside Concrete, Morden Ceilings and Daleraven.
