Barnsley sign Iain Hume for £1.2m

SIMON DAVEY has made the biggest signing of his Barnsley career with the £1.2m purchase of Leicester City striker Iain Hume.
Barnsley beat Championship rivals Sheffield United, Preston and Wolves to the signature of the 24-year-old Canadian, signalling their intent to challenge for a top six spot next season.

The former Tranmere striker scored 11 goals for Leicester last season but could not help them drop out of the division.
