It's the day all Hull City fans have dreamed of: the Tigers take their bow in the Premier League.
City take on Fulham at the KC Stadium in front of an expected full house with all eyes on how the Tigers can make the step-up from the Championship.

Doncaster Rovers 1 Cardiff 1
Sheffield United 3 QPR 0
Wolverhampton 4 Sheffield Wednesday 1

Leeds 0 Oldham 2
Colchester 0 Huddersfield 0

League Two

Morecambe 1 Rotherham 3

York City 1 Histon 1

4.57 - But the result of the day has to go to those mighty Tigers, 2-1 at home to Fulham. That's three points on the board, closing in on Derby's unwanted points record already.

4.55 - Full-time whistles are blowing and it's defeats for Leeds and Wednesday, while Doncaster have to settle for a point at home.

4.50 - McCormack has equalised for Cardiff at the Keepmoat to put a dampener on things for Doncaster, but Lynch's second of the afternoon must surely seal the three points for Rotherham at Morecambe.

4.47 - Mido has doubled Boro's lead over Spurs, but things look bleak at Oakwell, as Hume has been sent off, while Edwards piles the agony on for Wednesday, 4-1 to Wolves.

4.45 - Sweaty palms time at Rotherham, as Morecambe reduce the arrears to 2-1 thanks to a Wainwright effort... and you may just have heard the cheer from the east coast. Caleb Folan has scored for Hull City, 2-1 against Fulham with just minutes remaining.

4.34 - Wheater has put Middlesbrough 1-0 up against Tottenham.

4.30 - But it's not good news from Oakwell, Gray has just put the Sky Blues of Coventry back in front with 20 minutes remaining against Barnsley.

4.28 - It's that man Guy again. After netting the winner against Derby last week, the striker has put Doncaster 1-0 up against Cardiff at the Keepmoat. And McBeen has equalised for York, 1-1 against Histon.

4.22 - Leeds's Showunmi looked like he should have been awarded a penalty when he was hauled down by Sean Gregan, but the referee waved away appeals at Elland Road. If United fans were unhappy at that, they will be fuming now... Taylor has just made it 2-0 with his second goal of the afternoon.

4.15 - Sharp will be heading home with the matchball tonight, he just completed his Blades hat-trick against QPR.

4.13 - And it's looking bleak for Wednesday, Ebanks-Blake has converted a 54th-minute penalty to put the Owls 2-1 down.

4.10 - Leeds United are 1-0 down to Oldham at Elland Road, Taylor scrambling the ball home after Hughes hit the crossbar.

3.50 - Some half-times in the Premier League... West Ham 2 Wigan 0, Middlesbrough 0 Tottenham 0, Hull 1 Fulham 1, Everton 1 Blackburn 1, Bolton 3 Stoke 0.

3.45 - Brian Howard has equalised for the Tykes at Okawell, cancelling out Freddy Eastwood's earlier goal.

3.44 - Ryan Taylor has put Rotherham United 2-0 up at Macclesfield. If that stays the same the Millers could be on just minus 11 points come the end of play today.

3.42 - Looking round the Premier League, Dean Ashton is a good one for you Fantasy League geeks (me included, I might add) as he nets twice for West Ham in the first half. Premier League new boys Stoke are losing 2-0 at Bolton, while the old '1-0 to the Arsenal' can be trotted out against as the Gunners beat West Brom in the early kick-off. David Dunn put Blackburn 1-0 up at Everton in Paul Ince's first game in charge.

3.40 - York have had a good start to the season, but Wright's converted from the penalty spot on 38 minutes to put the Minstermen 1-0 down at home to Histon.

3.32 - Former Charlton striker Iwelumo has powered home an equaliser for Wolves against Wednesday.

3.25 - Oh you of little faith, Geovanni has popped up the equaliser for Hull City, as the KC Stadium is rocking.

3.22 - We can't stop scoring!!! Sharp has got his second for the Blades, while Thorne also netted his second for the Bantams. Easy, easy, easy...

3.17 - And talking about three goals in two games, Etienne Esajas has given Wednesday the lead at Wolves, adding to his double against the Millers in midweek. Freddy Eastwood on target for Coventry against Barnsley.

3.15 - It's a third goal in two games for Peter Thorne, as the Bradford striker gives the Bantams a 11th-minute lead at Macclesfield.

3.15 - I saw Rotherham play midweek at Hillsborough and predict a good season for Mark Robins's team, very tough team to beat. And they are 1-0 up at Morecambe thanks to Lynch's ninth-minute goal.

3.12 - But the tough times many predicted for the Tigers is here... Fulham are ahead at the KC Stadium, Ki-Hyeon netting after nine minutes. Welcome to the Premier League boys.

3.09 - And it's come at downtown Bramall Lane, Billy Sharp quick off the mark on three minutes for Sheffield United against QPR.

3.00 - And they're off... so where's the first goal coming from?

2.45 - Team news. One striker up front for Sheffield Wednesday - all Brian Laws wants for Christmas is a takeover before the transfer deadline. While for Hull City it's like Christmas every day in the Premier League build-up. Let's hope the decorations don't come down too soon, four new faces in the Tigers' team today.

2.00 - Welcome to the Yorkshire Post's football goals programme, here you will get all the news from you club if you can't make the game, including goal flashes and what's happening on the pitch. No early kick-offs today, so all the action starts at 3pm.
