ON-LOAN winger Simon Whaley would be interested in a permanent move to Barnsley.
The 23-year-old, who joined on a month-long loan on November 7 from Preston North End, has been limited to just two appearances for the Tykes due to a foot infection but found the net in Monday's 3-2 victory over Burnley.

He said: "Who knows what will happen at the end of the loan and I could end up here.

"It is a huge incentive to do well because I am playing for my future and the rest of my career."
