The latest offering from the author known for her novels about feisty women, smouldering men, international intrigue and high fashion delivers the goods – as promised by the glitter-embossed cover.
Clement, a multi-billionaire, is uncle to four cousins who receive trust funds of half a million a year each.
Juno becomes a society queen and her sister Athena an academic scholar, while Diana is an It girl and her sister Venus is indulging in a career as an actress.
Clement throws a spanner in the works when he announces his impending marriage to the much younger Bai-Ling – which means the trust funds will dry up.
The formerly idle-rich cousins bond together to scheme against Bai-Ling, who in turn is plotting against them.
They also start searching out their own careers and ways to earn a living – much to the displeasure of their manipulative control-freak uncle!
Disengage brain and enjoy.
