Barnsley suffered a late 2-1 defeat at Preston, but Doncaster Rovers managed a 0-0 draw at 10-man Burnley.

Leeds United hit four past Hartlepool United at Elland Road, Jermaine Beckford netting twice, while a Michael Collins effort gave Huddersfield Town an impressive 1-0 win at Brighton.

Bradford City took the League Two honours in the Yorkshire derby at Don Valley, seeing off Rotherham United 2-0 thanks to goals from O'Brien and Nicky Law.
