The Business Crime Reduction Centre is hosting a free event which will provide businesses with the latest metal theft crime data, an overview of current police initiatives and the details of a new licensing regime for scrap metal dealers across England and Wales. The event is taking place at the New York Stadium, Rotherham from 10.30am to 3.30pm and is aimed at scrap metal dealers, manufacturers, metal stockholders, utility and telecommunications companies, businesses using metal in their daily operations and any firms affected by metal theft in the past.
