Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Global is understood to have paid close to the asking price of £36.915m for the prime property, which is home to law firm DLA Piper and serviced officer provider Regus.
The seller, Canada Life Investments, had purchased the building from Credit Suisse at the top of the market in 2005 for £46.5m.
In this week’s programme, we ask why provincial properties such as this are in such favour with real estate funds.
Also in the programme:
• Meadowhall goes up market.
• A new survey suggests Yorkshire manufacturing is growing.
• Why venture capitalists have such a bad rep.
• Two giant dairies merge.
Digital Editor David Behrens is joined in the studio by the Yorkshire Post’s Business Editor Bernard Ginns and Deputy Business Editor Greg Wright.
