Clyde Process strikes £1.7m deal with cereal maker
ENGINEER Clyde Process Solutions has won a US contract with a cereal manufacturer worth £1.7m.
The Doncaster firm, which provides pneumatic processing and air filtration systems said it won the contract from a leading global supplier of cereals, snacks and processed foods.
The equipment will be installed at the customer's production site in north central US.
Clyde chief executive Alex Stewart said: "We are delighted to have secured one of our largest orders in the food industry in this financial year. Our global subsidiaries continue to focus on building our order book by converting the significant sales pipeline of opportunities we have generated across many of our key customer markets.
"This contract, which has been secured in line with management expectations, strengthens our presence within the US food market as well as our order book for the next financial year. We are hopeful that our relationship with this customer will lead to additional orders in the future."
