French takeover
A YORKSHIRE tooling firm has been acquired by France's largest manufacturer of cutting tools.
Tivoly has added Elite Tooling to its portfolio in a deal advised by Oxley & Coward solicitors.
Elite Tooling, which had a turnover of about 859,000 in 2008, employs six people in Rotherham.
The firm designs, develops and manufactures highly specialised cutting tools
The existing directors and staff will all remain with the company.
Rebecca Stopford, commercial partner at Rotherham-based Oxley & Coward, said: "It was a major coup for us to be selected ahead of London firms, who were the natural first choice for this sort of international client."
