Photo-me swings to full year profit
PHOTO booth maker Photo-Me International today said it swung to an underlying pre-tax profit, reflecting the impact of savings achieved through streamlining.
The company booked full-year pretax profit on continuing operations before exceptional items of 1.6m compared with a loss of 6.3m in the last financial year.
It almost halved its net debt to 23.5m, compared with 45.6m last time, which was its principal financial objective for the year.
It also said former chief executive Serge Crasnianski was to step in as interim chief executive.
Photo-Me issued a profit warning in February and in March Thierry Barel resigned as chief executive.
On Wednesday it announced the sale of its 86 per cent interest in its Swiss-based subsidiary, Imaging Solutions, which had been flagged up last month.
