Sales up as chains look north
Retail marketing communications agency Fourninety hit sales of £3.5m this year, adding new campaigns for companies such as fashion shoe brand Redfoot, above, to its stable of clients including Unilever, Diageo, Cadbury and Heinz.
The Morley-based company also secured a five-year 2m photography deal this year with a major cosmetics retailer, which has led to expansion in the South with a studio in Milton Keynes.
Fourninety, with 50 staff, specialises in catalogue and brochure design, packaging and photography.
John Lawrence, the development director, said: "Gone are the days when only London agencies could pitch for the biggest accounts: large brands are now frequently choosing northern-based agencies to handle their work."
New partnerships include catalogue retailer Betterware, high-street toy retailer The Entertainer, brand specialists Crave, catering equipment company Brakes, etailer Gadgetshop.com , and Nestle. The firm estimates that its work is seen by 25 million people every day.
