Shortlist revealed for the excellence awards
THE Yorkshire Post today announces the eagerly-awaited shortlist for this year's Excellence in Business Awards.
This year, the awards are more hotly-contested than ever before, with a record 205 entries received before deadline.
The shortlist features some of Yorkshire's biggest companies, with multi-million pound turnovers and thousands of employees, as well as some of the region's most innovative small firms, which employ the latest technology and gadgetry.
Tickets are now on sale for the prestigious awards ceremony, which takes place at Queens Hotel in Leeds on October 16.
Ed Balls, the schools secretary, is the keynote speaker, while Jon Culshaw, the acclaimed impressionist, is master of ceremonies.
