Writer's award for Conal
Conal Gregory, the Yorkshire Post's Personal Finance specialist, has scooped the prestigious Regional Journalist of the Year prize awarded by the British Insurance Brokers' Association.
Nick Starling made the presentation on behalf of BIBA. Conal Gregory, pictured, won the same award two years ago and last year was awarded Regional Personal Finance Journalist by the Association of Investment Companies. The BIBA award is for Conal's articles on insurance in the Yorkshire Post. He wins an inscribed glass, certificate and cheque.
York-based Conal is married to a community physiotherapist. They have two children.
In addition to writing on personal finance, he is a Master of Wine and selects for leading airlines, cruise and train operators. He was MP for York from 1983-92.
