Cranswick reports positive first half trading

PREMIUM pork supplier Cranswick said its first-half trading performance had been positive and was in line with its expectations on strong sales.
The company said revenue for the six months to end-September rose 9 per cent, while sales on a like-for-like basis grew 10 per cent, as a hike in raw material price inflation was reflected in higher selling prices.
Cranswick also said its cashflow from operating activities remained robust.
