CONSTRUCTION and housebuilding firm Galliford Try said today it had won two education contracts worth more than £26.1m.
The firm, which in May bought the residential development assets of Hull development company Wright Group after it went into administration, agreed a deal with Lancaster University build a new sports centre and a four-storey academic building. The deal is worth £18.1m.
It has also secured an £8m contract to redevelop of Michael Faraday Primary School for in Southwark, London.
Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive, of Galliford Try, said: "These contract awards reinforce our strong presence and robust market position in these sectors."
