Retailers heading to the Dock

SEVEN retailers have agreed to open stores at the £260m Clarence Dock development in Leeds.
Replay, which has leased about 2,000 sq ft, will trade alongside All Saints and G-Star, which were among those signing up for the mixed use scheme a few weeks ago.

JOY, the urban clothing and accessory store which already has a unit in The Light in Leeds, will lease 2,800 sq ft and Aspecto, a designer clothes store, will lease 1,865 sq ft and Daniel Footwear will lease 1,700 sq ft.

HOB, the cooking store, has signed up for 2,700 sq ft and Moda in Pelle, has leased 1,600 sq ft to sell shoes, bags and jewellery.

Alongside it will be Emma, which offers evening, prom, occasion and day wear collections. Tuscan restaurant @larcocca opened in May. Café Aagrah opened last month and the £13m bar, restaurant and casino complex Alea will open next week.

Clarence Dock also includes more than 1,100 waterside apartments and 100,000 sq ft of offices, a hotel, exhibition hall and a 1,650 space car park.
