A RETAIL park near Dewsbury will open shortly, helping to rejuvenate the local area.
Ravensthorpe Shopping Park, in Ravensthorpe, is expected to create a new focal point in the town and has already attracted some big high street names.

The 45,000 sq ft (4,180 sq m) scheme, which opens at the end of the month, has been developed by Lancashire-based firm Errigal and is bringing stores like Au Naturale, Home Bargain, Greggs, Subway and Netto to the park.

David Harrison, from Errigal, said: "We are very pleased to be able to make a positive contribution to the regeneration of Ravensthorpe through the establishment of a high quality new shopping park, which will provide a new retail hub for the town."

Steve Henderson, associate director at Savills, the letting agents at the scheme, added: "Ravensthorpe Shopping Park will completely transform the town centre and dramatically improve an area that has been long in need of regeneration."
