HILARY BENN, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will be making his second successive visit to the Great Yorkshire Show when he visits on Thursday, the last day of the three-day event.

Chairman of the Agricultural and Horticultural Development Board John Bridge will be at the show's The Farmers Meet at 11am on Tuesday to answer farmers' questions on how their levies are spent.

On Wednesday Minister for Yorkshire Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central, will be at the show.

Ticket sales are already 40 per cent up on the same time last year.

Free shuttle buses will run every 10 minutes from Harrogate Railway Station and Hornbeam Park Station to the showground.
