United Utilities says trading in line with forecasts

UNITED Utilities said today its trading for the current year was in line with expectations, and increased its final dividend by nearly 4 per cent compared to the previous year.
"Consistent with our previous policy of growing dividends in line with inflation, the board is proposing to increase the final dividend by 3.87 per cent compared with last year," chairman Richard Evans said in a statement.
