Residents of the Howardian Hills and surrounding parishes are invited to a series of local "drop-in" events to give their views on what makes their community special and how things could be improved.

Organised by Yorkshire Rural Community Council and officers of the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the "drop-ins" take place at Welburn Village Hall on Tuesday, May 13, Hovingham Village Hall on Monday, June 2, Barton-Le- Street on Monday, June 9
and at Ampleforth on Tuesday June 17. The events run between 3pm and 7pm.
