Based very loosely on real-life exploits during the Second World War, Female Agents is a stirring tale of heroism during the Nazi invasion, headlining Sophie Marceau as French resistance operative Louise Desfontaines, who is sent to London to rendezvous with her controller,
Maurice Buckmaster.

He instructs Louise to assemble a crack team to parachute behind enemy lines and rescue a British geologist, who is languishing in a French hospital.
