Went for lunch today with elderly father and sister. Two mains for £7 ! Very well cooked piece of gammon served with two fried eggs (pineapple option) good chips, and peas. Nice thick gammon, not that thin stuff that gets overcooked and comes out like leather. Sister only wanted a light meal so just had a bowl of thick Leek and Potato soup with roll and butter. We will be back sometime soon.

As long as you dont expect 3 star food for two with wine for 20 quid you cant go wrong , well worth a visit.

A fine place to go for a drink and have found it to be friendly. I don’t think the food is great though as is a chain pub and doesn’t taste freshly cooked.
Went recently on a Wednesday night. Turned out to be a curry night. Wasn’t impressed. My advice is stick to the usual menu - curry seemed to be a microwave meal.
