ANGRY fans demanded the removal of manager Maurice Malpas as sorry Swindon were outclassed by Huddersfield, suffering a fifth successive defeat at the County Ground.
The only surprise from Huddersfield's point of view was that they did not double their tally, though the three goals they put away in their best show of the season were gems. More of this and Stan Ternent's men will be climbing the table.

kinson, again operating as a lone central striker, made it a perfect start with the fourth strike of his loan stay from Derby after six minutes, cleverly making everything of a tight situation and flicking the ball home when Andy Butler knocked on a cross from Gary Roberts.
From then on, the Robins became a shambles defensively. Unable to deal with Town's raiding, they lived on their luck, though they were not without threat up front. Simon Cox should have had his 11th goal of the season on 25 minutes when Jim Goodwin brought down Michael Timlin.
Cox's penalty was saved by Matt Glennon, the highlight of the goalkeeper's top drawer performance, and it promptly led to Town going 2-0 up.
Glennon's clearance was snapped up by Roberts, who, from the edge of the area, brilliantly fired his fifth goal of the campaign.
That strike was matched midway in the second half by Michael Flynn despatching another quality shot from distance as the ball fell to him when Jack Smith cleared off the line from Ian Craney.
Craney and Flynn largely engineered Town's attacking moves from the heart of a five-man midfield. Jon Worthington, who, like Craney, had had to pass a late fitness test, was a workaholic in the holding role in front of a back four in which Butler and Clarke were prominent.
The only downside for Town was a loss of concentration that allowed Craig Easton a late consolation.
"That was disappointing – we deserved a clean sheet," said Town assistant manager Ronnie Jepson. "The lads were excellent. We were confident that we could open up Swindon with the quality we have. We could have had five or six goals."
