Sheffield Wednesday have signed Middlesbrough defender Tony McMahon on a month's loan.

Marseille have confirmed that there is an 'agreement in principle' for Djibril Cisse to join Sunderland on a season-long loan deal, meaning it now unlikely that Roy Keane will make a move for Sheffield United's James Beattie.

Hull City have confirmed a season-long loan deal with Wigan for striker Marlon King. The striker will not be able to play against Wigan in either home or away game this season.The Tigers have also made the signing of defender Anthony Gardner a permanent move to enable them to keep a loan place open for striker Fraizer Campbell.
