HUDDERSFIELD Town manager Stan Ternent is running the rule over former Sheffield United goalkeeper Paul Gerrard and ex-Everton midfielder Tony Grant.
Hull City manager Phil Brown has opened talks with Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King over a possible move to the KC Stadium.

The two clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee for the Jamaican international who has spent only six months with Wigan after a £4m move from Watford.

The Tigers remain in talks with German club Borussia Dortmund over a fee for South African winger Delron Buckley who has impressed on trial.

His brother Rory, who was released by Mansfield Town this summer, will also be moving to Whaddon Road.

Bradford could swoop for Leeds United reserve striker Antony Elding who has also been linked with a move to Carlisle United.

Former Barnsley goalkeeper Nick Colgan is training with Scunthorpe United after failing to land a deal at Valley Parade and the Bantams are now looking at former Blackpool goalkeeper Rhys Evans.
