HULL City's first televised game in the Premier League will be against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Setanta Sports have chosen the game – the first league meeting between the clubs in 93 years – for live coverage on Saturday, September 27, kick-off 5.30pm.

Sky Sports, meanwhile, will be showing Hull's home game against Manchester City live on Su
nday, November 16th (4pm).

These are the only fixtures featuring the Tigers that are shown live in the opening months of the new season.

Four other non-televised fixtures have also been re-arranged.

The home game against Everton (3pm) has been put back 24 hours to Sunday, September 21 and the trip to Tottenham Hotspur has been moved to Sunday, October 5, due to the opposition's UEFA Cup involvement.

West Ham United's visit to the KC Stadium has been put back 24 hours to Sunday, October 19 due to a clash with the Hull Fair and Chelsea's visit has been put back 24 hours to Wednesday, October 29 (7.45pm) by mutual agreement since Chelsea are involved in a live fixture against Liverpool on the Sunday.

French international Bernard Mendy yesterday completed his move to Hull on a free transfer from Paris St-Germain.

The defender is the third new arrival at the KC Stadium after Brazilian midfielder Geovanni and striker Craig Fagan.

The first televised Premier League fixture of the season will be Sky's coverage of Arsenal against West Brom at lunchtime on the opening day. Both Manchester United and Chelsea are shown live the following day against Newcastle United and Portsmouth respectively.

Doncaster Rovers are chasing former Rotherham United striker Darren Byfield following his release by Bristol City.

Sheffield United defender Ryan Cresswell, 20, has signed a two- year deal with League two club Bury.
