SHEFFIELD Wednesday have made their first signing of the season, snapping up Burnley midfielder James O'Connor on a free transfer.
O'Connor, who spent four years at Turf Moor, will put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Hillsborough.

O'Connor was capped by the Republic of Ireland Under 21s.
