Honda has set out to track down the UK's oldest, privately owned, working, petrol lawnmower. The 'Grass Masters' competition offers a prize of a new Honda lawnmower, worth £850.

Inspired by tales from customers of legendary 20-year-old mowers that never fail to start at the first pull, year after year, Honda feels such trusty machines deserve some recognition and respect.

So, when the ultimate 'Grass Master' is found, its owner will win a Honda HRX476 QX. In addition, 20 runners-up will receive a £50 voucher which is redeemable against any new Honda lawnmower.

All that entrants need to do is to log on to www.honda.co.uk/grassmasters, fill out the entry form online and then upload a photograph of their own special Grass Master. Alternatively, a printable form can be downloaded from the site and sent by post along with a print.

The competition runs to July 31 2009 and the winner will be notified by August 31.
