FROM window boxes to allotments, gardeners have been learning about how their green fingers can grow fresh food in the smallest spaces - and you can join them.
Not everyone has room for a kitchen garden the size of the Royal Horticultural Society's at Harlow Carr but today experts were on hand to show what can be done in smaller plots, window boxes and containers.
The event saw experts give advice on everything from growing rocket, yellowstone carrots, sweet pepers and garlic - and a novel use for a builder's 'dumpy' bag.
