The fact that Chris Thorman could have played any sport he wanted at whatever level he fancied it goes a long way towards explaining his impressive all-round ability. A great pivot with good handling, strong tackling and a spot-on kicking game - a throw back to his footballing youth - Thorman also has the rugby league mindset which makes him such a strong captain. Expect a lot of points from this lead-from-the-front character, and the knocks on the Great Britain door might finally get answered if he can stay injury-free.

Giants goals: 201 Drop goals: 3
Giants points: 641
