Acupuncturist Christopher Pomfrett says treating patients in a community setting is more akin to how acupuncture is given in China.
The clinic will operate a sliding scale of fees, so those on low incomes pay less than those with a higher income. The sliding fee scale will be £30 for the initial consultation, including the first treatment, with subsequent treatments costing £10, £15 or £18, depending on what patients can afford. Patients will not be asked about their income.
