A Yorkshire Post promotion: A chance to boost your tax-free savings

The Yorkshire Post has teamed up with Bradford & Bingley to offer readers a chance to boost their tax-free savings with a total cash prize giveaway of £3,600. Up for grabs is a bonanza prize of £2,000 cash for the winner with two runner-up prizes of £800 each.

The new rule changes mean that savers will, as of 6th April 2008, be able to save up to a maximum of £3,600 a year tax-free in a cash ISA, up from the previous limit of £3,000, giving savers the opportunity to shelter even more of their hard-earned cash from the taxman.

With 73% of the UK population currently earning less than the base rate, this really is a great opportunity to make the most of your savings.
