Enjoy a traditional carol concert in video and song, from Burton Agnes Hall, specially recorded for the Yorkshire Post.
The group Middle 8 provides a fitting programme of carols and traditional songs at the hall in Driffield, and we've captured the highlights.

descendents of the Cunliffe-Lister family haved lived in Burton Agnes Hall since it was built 400 years ago and it's within these walls that a host of Christmas songs reverberates.

Fifteen generations have filled the Hall with treasures, from magnificent carvings commissioned when it was built to French impressionist paintings, contemporary furniture, tapestries and other modern artwork in recent years.

Led by Susan Cunliffe-Lister, the family gather natural products from their award winning gardens and estate to create stunning, original deocratons for the Hall.

A huge Christmas tree from the estate's forests dominates the Great Hall. Original Elizabethan and Jacobean quarters are decorated in traditional style whilst the Long Gallery has a contemporary Christmas mood to complement its collection of modern and impressionist art.

Click PLAY to watch and enjoy the concert.
