Gillingham v Huddersfield Town

League One

HUDDERSFIELD Town manager Lee Clark hopes today's game will prove that his side have the character to win promotion.
After an unbeaten run of 11 games, Town crashed in midweek at Southampton.

Having played a game more, in some cases two more, than other clubs in the play-off race, Town can hardly afford another defeat this afternoon if they are to hold on to sixth spot.

Clark and his players stayed on the south coast following the 5-0 humiliation at St Mary's and travel to Kent in good spirits.

"Once the dust had settled and we got the lads back together, it was business as usual," said Clark. "It has been a good couple of days for us on the training pitch but the sign of any good team is how they bounce back from a setback. If we can go on another good run like we have just been on, we will give ourselves a good opportunity to do what we want to this season."
