Premier League
Tottenham v Hull City
Sunday (3pm)
Team news: Marlon King has been troubled by a back injury all week but is still expected to start against Spurs, while Anthony Gardner and Nick Barmby return to the squad to face their former club. Barmby is likely to be named on the bench but Phil Brown insists he will not be rushed into bringing Gardner back too soon and he may have to wait for a recall to the 18. Stelios Giannokopoulos is again not risked as he attempts to build his fitness.
Tigers manager Phil Brown said: "We have not won everyone over and we still have a job to do between now and the end of the season.".
Championship
Barnsley v Doncaster Rovers
Team news: Midfielder Hugo Colace is still struggling with the ankle injury that forced him to miss Barnsley's midweek defeat at Ipswich Town. Goalkeeper Heinz Muller will keep his place despite making two expensive blunders at Portman Road. Teenager Reuben Noble-Lazarus, who made history in midweek as the youngest player to appear in a Football League games, is again in the Barnsley squad.
Rovers will make late decisions on the fitness of midfielders Brian Stock (back) and Richie Wellens (groin) who are both struggling with minor knocks
Reds chief Simon Davey: "It bodes well for a fast entertaining game with a lot of football played but I am sure, when it becomes a local derby, the two managers will turn that into a little bit of war because we know what is at stake"
Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll: "Both teams probably feel their performances warrant more points than they have picked up - but we can't afford to feel sorry for ourselves."
Plymouth Argyle v Sheffield Wednesday
Team news: Striker Francis Jeffers is pushing for his first start of the season for the Owls after making three successive appearances as substitute. Steve Watson returns in midfield after being rested against Nottingham Forest and Jermaine Johnson is available after recovering from an ankle injury. Mark Beevers is hoping for a recall in defence as Peter Gilbert struggles with a hamstring problem. Frank Simek and Akpo Sodje are still ruled out but may return after the international break.
Owls chief Brian Laws: "We're still not in top gear yet. There is more to come from us."
Sheffield United v Bristol City
Team news: New signing Brian Howard is in contention to make his debut for the Blades after arriving on loan from Barnsley. Winger Greg Halford is set to miss out after being stretchered off with a knee injury and a gashed shin in the midweek victory over Doncaster Rovers. Chinese international Sun Jihai is available again after serving a four match ban.
Blades manager Kevin Blackwell: "It would be fantastic to make it three wins on the trot going into the international break - it would also set us up nicely for one of our two biggest games of the season against Sheffield Wednesday."
League One
Huddersfield Town v Leicester City
Team news: Chris Lucketti is hoping to return to the side after missing the last two games with a groin strain but will have to depose one of Nathan Clarke and Andy Butler. Danny Cadamarteri is also to be involved after being confined to the sidelines with a hamstring strain, though the former Everton striker is more likely to be on the bench for the visit of former club Leicester City.
Town's Ian Craney: "Leicester were in the Premier League not so long ago but we have to view them as a beatable team."
Peterborough United v Leeds United
Saturday 12pm
Team news: Alan Sheehan is again out even though the three-game suspension for his sending off at Swindon Town elapsed after last week's 1-0 win at home to Hereford United. The left-back suffered a hamstring strain last week in training that has not healed in time to face the Posh. Otherwise, however, Gary McAllister has a full squad to select from as Leeds go in search of a seventh successive win.
Leeds United's Paul Telfer: "We have a very young and talented squad but talking and organisation are important parts of the game and that is something I can bring."
League Two
Bradford City v Luton Town
Team news: Bradford City will be without TJ Moncur after the defender suffered concussion in last weekend's defeat at Shrewsbury Town. Stuart McCall will also have to re-jig his midfield due to Lee Bullock being ruled out for three weeks through injury. Chris Brandon's debut in City colours will now have to wait until the New Year after the summer signing underwent an ankle operation this week.
Bradford City manager Stuart McCall: "No matter what team I send out against Luton, we need an improvement."
Rotherham United v Grimsby Town
Team news: Striker Richie Barker will make his first appearance for the Millers after returning to the club on loan from Hartlepool United. Spanish striker Omar Garcia is doubtful after picking up a shin injury and midfielder Danny Harrison is struggling with a thigh strain. Defenders Mark Lynch (shoulder) and Stephen Brogan (broken leg) are long term absentees.
Millers manager Mark Robins: "It would be magnificent to be above zero on Saturday night. Our season would finally start."
Blue Square Premier
York City v Cambridge United
The Minstermen are without Onome Sodje after the striker was ruled out for up to six weeks.
The 20-year-old damaged his hamstring in last weekend's high-scoring draw at Stevenage and could miss five league games and a couple of FA Cup ties.
Daniel McBreen and Richard Brodie are standing by to replace Sodje, while better news for manager Colin Walker is right-game with a bruised foot.
