GOALS from Nick Fenton, Danny Harrison and Drewe Broughton gave Rotherham United a hat-trick of Carling Cup shocks after they beat Southampton in the third round.
Mark Robins' side had already knocked out the Saints' Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves in earlier rounds and guaranteed making the headlines again with their latest heroics.

On the day it was revealed they had won an independent tribunal over the Carlos Tevez affair, Sheffield United travelled to Arsenal only to get thrashed 6-0.

Carlos Vela was the star man for the Gunners with a hat-trick, while Nicklas Bendtner (2) and Jack Wilshere were also on target.

A dramatic last-minute goal from Andy Robinson gave Leeds United a 3-2 win over Hartlepool at Elland Road.

Andy Monkhouse had given the visitors a 2nd minute lead before Robert Snodgrass levelled on 14 minutes.

Hartlepool again got their noses in front through a 33rd-minute Joel Porter strike and it wasn't until the second half that leeds drew level again through Enoch Showunmi's 58th minute strike.
